Here are some of our projects!

We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to own or have access to a computer. Access to Computers gives people the chance to shape their own futures in this new age. We exist to help more people discover the joys of Computing and the opportunities it can bring.

Our collaborative effort with GIZ


Our collaborative effort with GIZ saw several schools receive donations ranging from desktop computers, printers, and other IT equipment. Learn Rite School, located in Mtendere

Learn Rite School, located in Mtendere


Learn Rite School, a school located in Mtendere, paid us a visit for the first time and received a printer from us on behalf of GIZ Zambia. They school is one of many that have recently been robbed of ICT equipment in the area and we're happy to help get them back on their feet.


Kamwala Fountain of Hope

Kamwala Fountain of Hope


You might see one computer. We see countless opportunities, from that one computer. In partnership with GIZ, we donated a desktop computer to Kamwala Fountain of Hope. Fountain of Hope is a local NGO helping the increasing number of street kids, orphans, and vulnerable children in Lusaka. They provide education, food, clothing, shelter, and medical support to over 160 vulnerable children.

Nchanga Youth Development Centre in Chingola

Nchanga Youth Development Centre in Chingola


Nchanga Youth Development Centre in Chingola, has received a donation of 30 desktops and are upgrading their computer labs. The youth centre aims to not only serve its students, but the surrounding communities as well by adding ICT training as one of its courses.


Matipula Primary and Secondary School

Matipula Primary and Secondary School


Cfzs in partnership with IT Schools Africa donated a 30 desktop computer lab to Matipula Primary and Secondary School.
We loved seeing the children's reactions and we also were happy to hear a speech from a representative from DEB's and other honoured guests. We would like to thank our UK donors for making all this possible.

We love having Doug from the Solon Foundation around! Their foundation has donated a number of computers to schools all around the country. This time they were donating to the UTH Special Needs School - through the Sign Language Channel of Zambia

Prince Takamado Basic School

Prince Takamado Basic School


The Embassy of Japan donated 70 computers to Prince Takamado Basic School in Bauleni, and a Computer Lab. As CFZS we were honoured to be the chosen to carry out the work of refurbishing and the classroom and turning it into a modern Computer Lab. We can't wait to see the improved exam results from this as a result of his generous donation.


Baraka Community Partnerships

We partenered with Baraka Community Partnerships to donate primary and secondary school textbooks to schools in rural schools across the country.

Barefeet Theatre

Barefeet Theatre


We worked with Barefeet Theatre; a non-governmental organisation (NGO) that aids vulnerable children. Through the power of performance, educational workshops and more, they hope to give former street children a chance at a better life. We donated a desktop computer to assist them with their learning and because we believe in the cause.

Another partnership with a local a non-governmental organisation (NGO); this time we partnered with Zambia Open Community Schools (ZOCS). They are currently affliated with 785 schools, which translates to more than 150,000 community school learners in Zambia

February 2017, CFZS Donated a 25 Computer Lab to Joseph Community School. It was a rainy day but what a turn out!!! Linda Compound was very excited, we even had the Ward Councillor come through to support the opening and express appreciation for the Donated Computer Lab

Mr. Tim Johnson and Sir Andrew Pocock from Beit Trust visited us in Apri. What a joy it was to be reminded about the genuine interest and concern, established Trusts like these have for our children in Zambian Schools.

CFZS Board Meeting

The year started off very well with. CFZS had its first international Board Meeting with our UK Mother Charity and Suppliers- IT-Schools Africa, our Zambian Board Directors and the Zambia Programme Manager. We also had our Malawi and Zimbabwe Programme Managers in country to. There was a focus on Strategizing how to meet our goals for the next two years.

Kafue District Presentation

We were allowed to give a presentation by the District Education Board (DEBS) at Manulu Primary School. The Head Teachers, in the Kafue area, were informed of the Computers, Laptops and free e-content we have and they were excited when we told them the price of our computers.
